About Mike & Brittany
Mike relocated to the Coachella Valley from Newport Beach 19 years ago when he joined the family real estate businesses, which included a residential sales brokerage office, development company and custom-home building businesses. Mike was involved in all phases of the development and construction process including site acquisition, community planning, permitting, construction and financial oversight. Their custom homes can be found in exclusive desert communities such as Tradition, Hideaway, PGA West, and others. Prior to joining the family business, Mike was a Registered Investment Advisor and Fiduciary. His keen understanding of finance, real estate, interest rates, hands-on construction experience and desert market knowledge separates Mike from his competitors.
The Read Group consists of Mike and Brittany Read, both having 25 years combined experience. Together, they have been named as one of the top teams in the desert by Palm Springs Life. Their intimate knowledge of the various communities has helped to set them apart from others.
Mike was raised in Sierra Foothills of Northern California. Mike enjoys all things athletic. He played Division 1 Baseball in College until Graduating from The University of the Pacific, located in Stockton, California. Mike is highly competitive, focused and a total team player. Mike is heavily involved in the community and volunteering. He is also a coach for his children’s youth sports teams (baseball, soccer, softball) in both Palm Desert and La Quinta.
